3 Days / 2 Nights – Mountain Biking Adventure

These trek are a mixture of some longer and shorter walks. More on hill walk and the walking hours are usually no more than 7 hours a day but require more stamina. Walking in the tropical rainforest is humid, so energy do burn fast.

0830hrs – Pick up from the hotel and drive about 15minutes Dongongon town.  Briefing on do’s & don’ts.

This trail consist of asphalt road with and easy gradual ascent, scenic ride through the countryside of the Kadazan/Dusun village and a visit the 2nd oldest stone church in Sabah St Michael Church.

Continue cycling, en-route for lunch at the waterfalls. After lunch strong riders can continue cycle the steep 3km hill towards our hotel, or transfer to the hotel.

Overnight Kokol Farmstay or similar Kokol Farmstay is about 750meter above sea level, view is overlooking the south china sea.

Breakfast in the hotel, Cycling start at 0830hrs. Another scenic ride through the Kadazan / Dusun village, padi fields and fruit orchard. Trails are undulating and mixed of asphalt and gravel road. Will make few stop for refreshment and photo taking.

On a good weather Mt Kinabalu can be seen. Lunch will be at the riverside and feel free to dip afterwards. Overnight Kiulu Homestay (Kadazan / Dusun Host). Dinner is home cooked.

Awakes by the natural alarm rooster call. Breakfast prepare by the homestay host and check out. Today will ride all the way to the beach! Swim or sun-bath as you may. Trails are fairly easy today compare the other rides not forgetting testing your balance crossing the suspension bridge.

Tours are minimum two (02) person. Not recommended for beginners cyclist

  • Insect repellent

  • Thin or quick dry t-shirt
  • Shoe or sandal, no slipper
  • Small pouch or light back pack to keep your personal stuff
